Do CSIT graduates need to learn DSA separately for jobs?

The course covers data structures, but interviews at product companies seem much harder. How did you bridge the gap?

    Yes. Course DSA gives the base; for interviews do 2–3 problems a day for a few months. Consistency beats cramming.

        Whatever you are fastest in. C++ or Python are both fine.
